Growing up in Texas, Julia always had a strong sense of fairness and justice. She always wanted to pursue a career in law, beginning her journey as a prosecutor in the Bronx District Attorney’s Office. That journey led her to become a prosecutor at the United States Attorney’s Office for the Western District of New York. She has a wealth of trial experience and has even argued an appeal before the 2nd Circuit Court of Appeals.
With a background as a federal and state prosecutor, Julia is keenly aware of victims’ journeys. She has helped victims navigate unfamiliar and often intimidating terrain in their pursuit of justice. Her clients, whether in family or criminal law, are entitled to assistance with the process and passionate representation. She offers both. She helps her clients find their voice and resolve their legal matters fairly.
When clients come to GR&L, they can expect a professional and empathetic environment. She will ensure you understand the legal process and have realistic expectations about resolving your matter. She always wants to be the most reasonable party in the room. When reason doesn’t work, she will fight back.
